MyrixTV M3U Playlist and Xtream Codes Login Explained

Your MyrixTV login, in short
After you pay for a plan, MyrixTV sends your login details by email. They come in up to three formats: an M3U playlist link (with an EPG URL for the TV guide), an Xtream Codes login made of a server URL, a username and a password, and, for MAG boxes, a portal URL. All three open the same channels and the same on-demand library. They are simply different ways of handing that access to different apps and devices.
This guide explains what each format is, which kind of player takes which, how to keep your login private, and what to check when a playlist won't load. It doesn't repeat the step-by-step setup for every device; the setup guide by device does that.
| Format | What you receive | Where it's used |
|---|---|---|
| M3U playlist link | One link, plus an EPG URL for the guide | Players with an "M3U URL" or "Add Playlist" option, Enigma2 receivers |
| Xtream Codes login | Server URL, username, password | Players with an "Xtream Codes" or "XC Login" option |
| Portal URL | One URL for the box's settings | MAG boxes |
What an M3U playlist is
An M3U playlist is a plain list of streams. Each entry gives a channel's name, the group it belongs to (a category or a region, for example) and the address the player should open to play it. When you paste the link into a player app, the app downloads that list and builds its channel menu from it.
On its own, an M3U list says nothing about what's on at 9 p.m. That's what the EPG URL is for. It points the player to the TV guide data, which the app matches to the channels in the playlist. Every MyrixTV plan includes the TV guide (EPG), so add the EPG URL wherever the player asks for one, even if the field is marked optional.
A few practical points about the M3U format:
- It's one long link. It usually carries your username and password inside it, which is why it should be treated like a password (more on that below).
- It's widely supported. Playlist-based players, Smart TV apps and Enigma2 receivers all work with it.
- It's a big list. With 25,000+ live channels and 100,000+ movies and series on demand, a full playlist takes a moment to load, especially on smaller devices. Give the app time on the first load.
What an Xtream Codes login is
An Xtream Codes login is the same access split into three fields: a server URL, a username and a password. Instead of downloading one big list, a player that supports Xtream Codes signs in to the server and asks for live channels, movies, series and guide data separately.
That has two practical benefits:
- The TV guide comes with it. You don't paste a separate EPG URL; the player fetches guide data through the same login.
- Movies and series sit in their own sections. Players usually show live TV, movies and series as separate menus, which makes a large on-demand library easier to browse.
If the app asks for a port, it's usually part of the server URL: the digits after the colon. Type the three fields exactly as they appear in your MyrixTV email.
The MAG portal URL
MAG boxes don't use a player app. You open the box's own server settings and paste the portal URL from your MyrixTV email, then the box loads the channel list. Enter it in full, exactly as sent. The box identifies itself by its MAC address, so keep that address private as well.
Which player apps take which format
MyrixTV has no app of its own. You use a third-party player, and the format you pick depends on what that player supports. Suggested players for each device are:
| Device | Suggested players | Format to look for in the app |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung Smart TV | Smart IPTV | M3U playlist link |
| LG Smart TV | IPTV Smarters, SS IPTV | M3U link; Xtream Codes where offered |
| Fire TV Stick, Android | IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, Perfect Player | M3U link or Xtream Codes login |
| iPhone, iPad | IPTV Smarters Pro, GSE Smart IPTV, nPlayer | M3U link or Xtream Codes login |
| MAG box | None (the box's own settings) | Portal URL |
| Enigma2 (Dreambox, VU+) | None (the receiver's web interface) | M3U link or file, converted to a bouquet |
Apps change between versions, so the quickest test is the app's own "add" screen: if it offers an "Xtream Codes" or "XC" option, you can use the three-field login; if it only asks for a URL, use the M3U playlist link. When a player offers both, the Xtream Codes login is usually the simpler choice because the guide comes with it. Not sure your app will work? Ask the team on WhatsApp before you order, and they can check it with you.
Keeping your MyrixTV IPTV account private
Your IPTV account is only as private as the login details in that email. Treat every format as a password:
- Don't post it. Never paste your M3U link, server URL or portal URL into a forum, a group chat or a screenshot you share for help. If you need help with a login, send it to the MyrixTV team on WhatsApp, not to strangers.
- Don't share it. Each plan includes one connection, so one screen at a time, and sharing an account is against the terms of service. If your household needs more screens at once, extra connections are available; ask the team for the price.
- Keep the email. Store it somewhere safe so you can re-enter your details after a reset or on a new device.
- Watch what you install. Only enter your login in a player you chose and downloaded from your device's official app store.
If you think your details have been seen by someone else, message the team on WhatsApp and explain what happened.
When a playlist won't load: a checklist
Most problems with an M3U playlist or an Xtream Codes login come down to a handful of causes. Work through them in order.
Check what you typed
The most common cause is a copy-paste slip: a space before or after the link, a missing character, or a line break inside a long URL. Type the link, username and password by hand, exactly as in your email. For Xtream Codes, keep the port that is part of the server URL.
Check the format matches the field
An M3U link pasted into an Xtream Codes field (or the other way round) won't work. Make sure you picked "M3U URL" for the playlist link and "Xtream Codes" for the three-field login.
Check your plan is active
A MyrixTV plan is paid once and doesn't renew by itself. When it ends, access stops, and the playlist stops loading. To continue, send a new order on WhatsApp.
Check the screen count
A plan covers one screen at a time. If the same login is already playing on another device, stop it there and try again.
Check the guide settings
If channels play but the guide is empty or shifted, refresh or reload the playlist and the EPG in the app's settings, and check the app's time zone. If that doesn't help, delete the playlist and enter your M3U link and EPG URL again.
Check your connection
If the list loads but streams stutter, the playlist is fine and the connection is the issue. At least 30 Mbps is recommended for HD and Full HD. Use Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, turn on hardware acceleration in the player, raise its buffer size (10–15 seconds on Android) and close other downloads and streams.
Still stuck? Support runs on WhatsApp, 24/7. Tell the team your device, your player app and which format you used.
MyrixTV player app questions
How do IPTV apps work?
An IPTV app is a player. It doesn't come with channels of its own: you add a login from your provider, such as an M3U playlist link or an Xtream Codes login, and the app loads the channel list, the guide and the on-demand library from it, then plays the streams over your internet connection.
Is there an app for IPTV from MyrixTV?
No. MyrixTV doesn't make its own app. You use a third-party player such as IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate or GSE Smart IPTV, depending on your device, and add the login from your email.
What is an IPTV app?
It's a video player built for live TV playlists. It reads a playlist or a server login, shows the channels by group, displays a TV guide, and plays the streams you pick. Some players are free and some charge for extra features.
How to use an IPTV app?
Install the player from your device's app store, open its "add playlist" or "add user" screen, choose the format (M3U URL or Xtream Codes), enter your details exactly as sent, and let the list load. The IPTV setup page has the steps for each device.
Where do I find my MyrixTV login?
In the email you receive after paying. It contains your M3U playlist link with the EPG URL, your Xtream Codes login and, for MAG boxes, a portal URL, with setup steps for your device.
Conclusion: your MyrixTV M3U playlist and Xtream Codes login
Your MyrixTV M3U playlist and your Xtream Codes login lead to the same channels; the right one is simply the one your player supports, with the portal URL kept for MAG boxes. Keep every format as private as a password, and when a playlist won't load, check the typing, the field, the plan and the connection before anything else. Ready to get your own login?
